Hello! My name is Brendan Dewley, I am a freshman at the University of Michigan, College of Literature of Science and the Arts. I plan a degree in Film, Television, and Media, and a double minor in Creative Writing and Crime & Justice. My largest passion in my life is comedy. Throughout history, comedy has been shown to shine truth on life and society and to connect people in amazing and unique ways. I also love telling stories through humor by writing and producing videos, and performing improvisational comedy. I am very interested in pursuing comedy and television. My plan is to continue to improve my writing and video production skills and take every opportunity I can to learn more about making and performing comedy.

I hail from the great city of Duluth, GA — only a stone skip away from Weiner Arkansas.

I’m primarily an actor, heading into my fourth and final year studying acting at the Univeristy of Michigan, but beyond that I greatly enjoy making music, writing stories, and generally indulging in any and all kinds of artistic activities :-)

Next semester I’ll be playing Jedediah’s great great grandfather “Tom ‘Jedidiah’ Joad” in the University of Michigan Theatre and Drama Departments production of the Grapes of Wrath. The following semester I’ll be preparing to showcase in NYC, LA, Chicago and then I’ll finally be a “real” actor in the “real” world doing “real” actor things!
